Chandler, Taylor invite constituents to telephone town hall
Reps. Bruce Chandler and David Taylor invite 15th District constituents to join them for a telephone town hall on Tuesday, Jan. 22. People who want to join the call beginning at 6:30 p.m. should call (877) 229-8493, then enter pin 15540. The 15th District legislators are now in Olympia for the 105-day regular session. “It’s important we stay connected to the people we represent while the Legislature is in session,” said Chandler, R-Granger. “I hope people can join us for this community conversation and share their concerns and suggestions.” The telephone town hall will work much like a call-in radio show: people will have the chance to ask questions of the representatives live during the hour-long call. “This has been a great tool for us to reach out to people back home while we’re in Olympia,” said Taylor, R-Moxee. “With a budget shortfall, an education mandate before us, and many other critical issues for the Legislature to discuss and decide on, it’s more important than ever that we hear from the people.” Members of the media are also invited to join the conversation.
